Join us for our upcoming November webinar!
November 3, 2022 @ 9a PT/ 12 p ET
Speakers: Dr. Michael Dodds, BDS, PhD and Dr. Teresa Marshall, PhD, RDN, LDN, FAND
Chew on this: Dental caries is the most prevalent, preventable, chronic disease in the U.S.- affecting adults and children alike. The 2019 Global Burden of Disease Study estimated that oral diseases affect close to 3.5 billion people worldwide; 25% of the US population suffers from untreated tooth decay, and 17% of seniors have no teeth. Oral health is critical to overall health and well-being, however, it is often overlooked until dental pain arise. This webinar will explore the two-way relationship between diet and oral health and will provide participants with practical approaches to promote good oral health in older adults.
Mars Wrigley has generously sponsored this webinar and we anticipate approval of 1.0 hour continuing education credit.
