Education is one of the most sought after opportunities across the globe, and the desire for accessible education resources is stronger than ever. Online learning platforms have evolved learning from a task only done in a classroom to a portable and accessible form through videos and online content. In 10 months, the Dietitians in Nutrition Support YouTube channel provided 10 educational videos and amassed over 500 hours of viewing from learners. Online video education can be used for college and university students, interns, work staff, and independent learners. This presentation overviews benefits, challenges and opportunities for video based nutrition education.
