Webinar: Front Line RDN’s: Positive Outcomes and Nutrition Interventions from New Jersey’s Pandemic Epicenter
MFNS invites CNM DPG members to our upcoming webinar!
July 29, 2020 @ 9am PT (10 MT, 11 CT, 12 ET)
Front Line RDN’s: Positive Outcomes and Nutrition Interventions from New Jersey’s Pandemic Epicenter
Speakers: Shannon Gononsky, RDN and Phyllis Holmes, RDN
COVID-19 patients often experience a decrease in appetite, po intake, and increased aversion to different textured foods. This is a challenge for the dietetic communities facing patients diagnosed with and recovering from COVID-19. In April 2020, our facility was designated by the New Jersey State Health Department to become a COVID-19 facility. This webinar is designed to educate dietitians on treatments utilized in our COVID-19 designated facility that resulted in positive nutrition outcomes. Our multidisciplinary team created care plans with nutrition interventions that have been closely monitored over the past 4 months. Join us to discuss our lessons learned and best practices that resulted in positive health outcomes for our patients.
We anticipate this webinar will be approved for 1 hour CPEU credit.
