Join us for our July webinar!
The webinar is at 12 PM Pacific (1 MT, 2 CT, 3 ET)
Raising the Impact Factor of Dietitians: Opportunities in Nutrition and Health Informatics
Speaker: Kathleen Pellechia, MS, RDN
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics broadly defines nutrition informatics as the “intersection of information, nutrition, and technology” and there is now no better time for dietitians to serve as leaders at these critical crossroads. Whether through transitioning to virtual counseling and telehealth, serving as knowledge curators and managers in public health programming, implementing technology solutions to better anticipate needs for food service, or building a case for better reimbursement through more robust data collection and analysis, dietitians can advance their careers in informatics and communications. This webinar will give an overview of how nutrition informatics fits into the larger landscape of health informatics, as well as offer tools, trends, and additional resources.
