Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition at Rutgers University School of Health Professions

The Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition at Rutgers University School of Health Professions is an advanced level program for Registered Dietitian Nutritionists in clinical practice who want to expand their skills and become innovative, interprofessional practitioners and leaders in today’s dynamic health care environment.  Our 31-credit curriculum integrates advanced clinical practice topics, critical thinking, scientific writing, evidence-based practice, and research. We also offer a Nutrition Focused Physical Examination course that integrates online learning with an in-person workshop.  Courses are offered in an online learning environment, combined with face-to-face virtual sessions, with part-time and full-time options. Our dedicated program faculty are committed to providing excellence in education and are nationally recognized experts in nutrition and oral health, kidney and cardiometabolic diseases and nutrition across the lifespan. They are at the forefront of advanced practice in nutrition and dietetics. Over 50% of our alumni have published articles in peer-reviewed journals, presented research and practice topics at national or international professional conferences and are involved in research.
